Today I have a review on 5 Dr.'s Remedy nail polishes that were sent to me.
Dr.'s Remedy nail polish is DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde free and enriched with natural ingredients.
The natural ingredients are:
- Tea Tree Oil: an essential oil obtained from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifornia, which is found to have antiseptic and antifungal activity.
- Garlic Bulb Extract: contains Allicin, a powerful antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral agent that joins forces with Vitamin C to help kill harmful germs.
- Vitamins C&E: for healthier skin and nails.
- Wheat Protein: a vegetable derived, high quality protein which contains moisture binding capabilities and naturally increases shine.
From left to right: Glee Gold, Nurture Nude Pink, Bold Baby Blue, Tranquil Tangerine, Lovely Lavender
Bold Baby Blue
A blue frost polish. 3 coats. It was very difficult to capture the shine and gloss in the polish. The polish did not show brush strokes, what you see on my nails are due to me hitting my nails on the camera before they were dry.
A foil polish? Not quite a frost polish because there is some small specks of glitter in it. 3 coats. It was very difficult to remove BUT it did not chip over the 5 days that I wore it.
This polish is very very bright and applies very smoothly. 3 coats. Similar to Glee Gold..it is a foil polish with a bit of glitter specks in it.
Nuture Nude Pink
I really liked this color, it was 3 coats. It probably would have be better if I had used 4 coats. This pink isn't exactly a creme, it has a pearlucent shimmer to it that I was unable to capture on my camera.
Purple is my all time favorite color! This dusty purple is gorgeous. It applied smoothly, 3 coats. It is a dusty purple creme. It doesn't need any shimmer, glitter, duochrome, or holo coloring to it. It is perfect the way it is :)
