So many!! they are all really cute...but loud.. and probably smelly
so here are the pictures of my really bad nail break. I couldn't even save it with the tea bag method, it was a clean break =(

it's like....seriously..what kind of break is this? arghhhhhhhhhh

Just my naked trimmed nails. slightly slight yellow but not bad.

it's the end of the world!!!!!!!!!

well not really but I broke a nail. It's a big deal to me as I have never had my nails this long ever and I Was taking really good care of it. sigh.

It's my fault I was running after the bus and tossed my bag over my shoulder and it was a blur and I broke the nail.

I'll post a picture later. It's all jagged. =( btw not a gross picture

Look at all these snow geese in the field...hehe.

I wanted to check on my nails...whether they had yellowed or not so I took off my nail polish. They looked okay and I couldn't decide what color to paint them so I decided to do a quite purple french tip.
this is the longest I have ever had my nails ever. it's crazy long for me. The problem is my nail beds are crazy that is why my french tip isn't super even. oh wells

i'm going insane

blogger is not being very nice today. some of my comments show........some don't show.......some are erased...........what? how does that even happen.

blargh

minor rant:

woke up early, took the bus to class. it takes me about 2 hours to get to school. 30 mins into the journey I get a text message from my partner telling me she is in bed sick.........argh..................she knows it takes me a long time to go to school.....our report is due thursday..........come on. If I was sick I would still force myself to get to school as the assignment needs to be done....well unless I had h1n1 or SARS or stomuch flu. it isnt that bad..I understand you are sick...except that she is also the partner who didn't finish her part of the assignment so we got a crap mark on it...and also changed the presentation slides after we had already rehearsed so that when I presented I looked like an idiot as many of my slides were missing...and is late for every meeting we have ever had.

no job..crappy school partner..gained weight..argh

end rant

i'm going to do my nails to make me feel better

gradient glitter nails volume 1

Monday, March 29, 2010 0

Once again here I am using loose glitter. I tried to do a purple glitter gradient. It is alright but I think there is room for improvement. I have had this mani for a few days so you can see some tip where..then I decided why don't I konad the ring finger and the thumb. So this is what it looks like now

I think the thumb might be too much......i'm not sure..hmm.

simple french tip

1

I sprinkled the glitter on my nails...covered it with a top coat then did the french tip..
in retrospect I should have done the french tips first I think............it's just that doing the french tip after the glitter was hard as the glitter was still rather lumpy even with a top coat. I guess I could have put on another top coat before doing the french tip but I don't like thick thick layers of nail polish built up.

sequence:
*base
*clear nail polish/ top coat
*glitter
*top coat
*french tip
*top coat
*top coat

hmm..need to think about this

well...removing this was a nightmare.......I'm not sure how I feel about loose glitter now. Glitter is notorious for being hard ti remove..but this was probably one of the worst ever.

super busy with school right night so not much time for nails..........but color club revvvolution is gorgeous. although I can't seem to capture it well on my nails...see the bottle picture much more true to color. but since it's a holo color at some angles it's charcoal gray at other angles its a rainbow so it really all depends. very much worth eh $7.40

LA colors art deco pen
avon sheer pink
rhinestones

Tuesday, February 23, 2010 Category : 4

I haven't done anything to my nails lately as I am waiting for my rhinestones to arrive =) but I wanted to post something here so I thought I would post a tip up for nail stamping.

I find it hard to decide what I want to stamp on my nail and hard to visualize whether it will fit on my nail or not......but i've figured out a pretty good way to get around it
1. Blank clear cd protectors. When you buy a stack or cds/ dvds in a roll they have clear blank plastic discs that protect the cds at the top and bottom.

2. stamp on them
3. Now you can place them on white paper and see how your design will look like when you stamp it and it will also allow you to get a better idea of what your designs look like/ what designs you have. I sometimes find looking at the metal plate difficult on the eyes and.................. you can put the clear disc on top of your nail to see what it would look like if you stamped your nail.
so that's all

I apoligze for the english, I hope you understand me it's 1:20 am right now and I should go to sleep but I felt that I had to put something on my blog.

btw my collection has been steadily growing =)

oh yes, I'm going to london drugs tomorrow...similiar to a sallys but a bit more expensive and I hope to get my hands on opi or china glaze nail polish...it's been on my wish list. I actually only own sally hansen, wet n wild, avon , 2 essies and no name brand nail polishes. I would love to get my hands on an opi or china glaze. wish me luck on finding some stuff on sale

VANCOUVER 2010 OLYMPICS!!!!

Friday, February 19, 2010 Category : , , , , , , , , , , , 6

here are my Mukmuks...the Vancouver island marmot.

The Vancouver Island marmot is an extremely rare and endangered species unique to the mountains of Vancouver Island. Learn about Vancouver Island marmots and other endangered species at www.marmots.org.

soooooooo I can't take it anymore

I wanted to save this for tomorrow so I could post something everyday...I'm trying to really get into this whole blogging thing but I need to show you guys this....

This was inspired by the 2010 Vancouver olympics and http://ilovenailpolish.blogspot.com/
I don't live in Vancouver but quite close so I am getting engulfed in the olympic celebration.

It's mukmuk. I am quite proud of it. It's my first time using brushes. the color isn't an ideal match but I only own about 15 polishes right now so I tried my best.

Who is he?
He is the sidekick to the vancouver 2010 olympic mascots.

I grabbed this description from here:

http://www.vancouver2010.com/mascot/en/profile_mm.php

Mukmuk is a small and friendly Vancouver Island marmot who always supports and cheers loudly for his friends during games and races.

When he is not hibernating or sunbathing on rocks and logs, he enjoys getting out to meet other types of marmots and animals. In fact, this is how he became friends with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic mascots.

THE MAKE UP MIX SHOP

Saturday, December 12, 2009 0

The makeup mix shop http://makeupmasala.com/shop/index.php is the best online store ever. The owner Toma is very patient and takes the time to answer any questions that I may have.

The products she sells are priced very well and are wonderful products.

I can't stop myself from browsing the website.

After I purchased my first set of items I bought another set of items...even when I hadn't even received the first set of stuff. You can say that might be risky..but I really like the stuff.

so here's a quick glimpse

this is the package:

Toma wrapped it in a nice xmas gingerbread wrapper to keep everything together

here's my stuff

I bought:

an elf studio concealer brush
an elf studio powder brush
costal scent gel liner in truffle
ecotools angled eyeliner brush
an elf eyeshadow brush

not much but Im very pleased

costal scent gel liner in truffle. it is actually very very good. i'm quite surprised. I will later compare it to my MAC fluidline

and I used this brush to apply it
